(R)-(+)-2-Phenyl-1-propylamine is an organic compound belonging to the group of cyclic amines. It is a colorless solid with a melting point of -92.7 °C and a molecular weight of 130.1 g/mol. This compound has been shown to have catalytic properties in transfer hydrogenation and transfer hydrogenation, as well as being able to form hydrogen bonds with other molecules, such as aliphatic amines and imine groups. The magnetic properties of (R)-(+)-2-Phenyl-1-propylamine have also been studied in the cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry technique, which has revealed that this molecule has a high degree of symmetry at the molecular level.
