Propargyl p-toluenesulfonate is a sulfonic acid that is used as a control agent in magnetic resonance spectroscopy. It is also used to study the properties of chloride, halides, and sulfonic acids. Propargyl p-toluenesulfonate has been shown to be a clickable reagent for the synthesis of sulfoxides, which are widely used in organic chemistry. It has also been shown to have high cytotoxicity against cancer cells in vitro.
