Description:
4-(4-(1H-Pyrazol-4-yl)phenyl)-4-(4-chlorophenyl)piperidine (PPP) is a novel therapeutic agent for the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases. PPP has been shown to be effective against eczema, psoriasis and other skin disorders. In vitro studies have shown that PPP inhibits the release of proinflammatory cytokines from human skin cells without affecting the viability of these cells. Moreover, PPP has been shown to inhibit the production of eosinophil peroxidase, an enzyme that is involved in inflammation and allergy. Clinical trials have demonstrated that PPP can be used as a topical cream for the treatment of mild to moderate eczema and psoriasis in women with no significant side effects.
