Description

Phosphoenolpyruvate mono(cyclohexylammonium) salt is a polymerase co-factor that aids in DNA polymerization. It can be used as a coating on polyvinyl chloride surfaces or as a solubilizing agent for photosynthetic enzymes, such as chloroplasts. Phosphoenolpyruvic acid (PEP) is a metabolic intermediate of glycolysis and the pentose phosphate pathway. PEP is also involved in the synthesis of nucleotides and phospholipids in plants.
