Description:
5-phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylhydrosulfide is a structural inhibitor that inhibits corrosion in seawater. It prevents the formation of chloride ions by reacting with chloride ions to form an insoluble hydroxide. 5-Phenyl-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-ylhydrosulfide has low toxicity and can be used as a corrosion inhibitor for copper and sodium chloride solutions.
