Perfluorocyclohexylmethyl Acrylate is a reactive monomer that is used in the production of polyesters and other polymers. It has a high molecular weight and a low viscosity, making it useful for diluting and polymerizing other monomers. Perfluorocyclohexylmethyl Acrylate does not have any significant toxic effects on humans or animals. It has been shown to be an effective sealant for use in the manufacture of plastic containers, as well as being used as a lysine-binding moiety in affinity chromatography. Perfluorocyclohexylmethyl Acrylate can also be used as an initiator for polymerization reactions, such as the synthesis of polyurethane elastomers.
