Perfluoro-2,5,8,11-Tetramethyl-3,6,9,12-Tetraoxapentadecanoyl Fluoride is a fluorinated surfactant that spontaneously forms emulsions in water. It has been shown to be a dipole and to form micelles. It is also a probe that can be used to measure the concentration of ammonium hexafluorophosphate. The carboxylate ion has been shown to catalyze reactions with catalytic activity. This surfactant is also capable of transferring molecules from one medium to another.
