Description:
N-Quinolin-8-yl-propionamide is an unactivated, oxidant, and biocatalytic chemical reagent that is used to catalyze the arylation of 8-aminoquinoline derivatives. N-Quinolin-8-yl-propionamide has been shown to be a high yielding, selective, and general oxidant for the synthesis of secondary amines from carbonyl compounds. This reagent can also be used for the oxidation of halides to produce alcohols or for the reduction of aliphatic C-H bonds to produce hydrocarbons.
