Quinazoline-6-carboxylicacid has been shown to be a reduction product of zanthoxylum, which is also found in other plants such as Acacia catechu and Elettaria cardamomum. This compound can act as an antifungal and may have pharmacological properties. The pharmacological properties of quinazoline-6-carboxylicacid have not yet been fully researched.
