Description:
Quercetin-3-arabinoglucoside is a plant flavonol glycoside that inhibits the activity of enzymes. Quercetin-3-arabinoglucoside has been shown to inhibit cyclooxygenase, lipoxygenase, and phospholipases, which are enzymes involved in inflammatory processes. Quercetin-3-arabinoglucoside also has antiinflammatory properties and is used as an antinociceptive agent. This compound may also have therapeutic potential for metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus and atherosclerosis.
