Product Information
5-Hydro-Imidacloprid is a dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSE) technique that was developed to extract neonicotinoid pesticides from soil and sediment samples. This technique has been used to analyze the presence of neonicotinoids in soybean seeds, as well as pollinator-related environmental samples. The DSE technique involves extracting the pesticide from the sample using an organic solvent such as acetone or methanol, followed by elution with water. The analytes are then analyzed using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry detection. Recoveries were optimized for each analyte, which ranged between 84% and 97%.
