Description:

Raney Ni Sponge A400 is a chemical catalyst, which is used in the production of polyurethane foam. It is produced by reacting hydroxide solution and carbon particles. This reaction takes place at high temperature and pressure to form a metal oxide with a large surface area. The Raney Ni Sponge A400 catalyst can be regenerated by adding hydrochloric acid or an inorganic acid to the reaction mixture. The process optimization was achieved using linear regression analysis and thermodynamic data. To measure the kinetic energy of the chemical species, nmr spectra were taken. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was used to measure the electrical resistance of the Raney Ni Sponge A400 catalyst.
