Description

(R)-Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the production of stomach acid and is used to treat conditions such as gastric ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is chemically stable in the presence of magnesium ions and has been shown to have a long half-life in humans.
