Description:
Rac 2-chloroethyl benzhydryl ether is a dopamine transporter ligand that binds to the dopamine transporter and blocks the transport of dopamine. Rac 2-chloroethyl benzhydryl ether is biotinylated and can be used for the labeling of dopaminergic neurons. Rac 2-chloroethyl benzhydryl ether has been shown to be effective in blocking the dopamine transporter in dopaminergic neurons in rats, leading to an increase in extracellular concentrations of dopamine.
