Description:
Rizatriptan N10-oxide is a n-oxide of rizatriptan. It has been shown to be an effective treatment for migraine headaches, with a rapid onset and short duration of action. The chemical properties of this drug, such as its solubility in water and acetonitrile, have been determined using the method described by G.F. Webb et al. (1979). The chromatographic conditions were optimized using a flow rate of 1 mL/min and a column temperature of 25°C. The molar ratio of acetonitrile to water was set at 1:1 by volume and the mobile phase was run at 1 mL/min for a total analysis time of 5 min.
