Rhodojaponin-II is a compound that has been found to inhibit the production of pro-inflammatory factors, such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), in cell culture. It also inhibits the growth of cancer cells and suppresses the development of autoimmune diseases by blocking the production of TNF-α. Rhodojaponin-II has been shown to be able to bind to toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and activate TLR4 signaling pathways, which may lead to its therapeutic effects.
