Description

Rosin is a natural product that has been shown to have antibacterial activity and inhibit the growth of cancer cells. This extract has also been found to be effective against experimental lung cancer and breast cancer in cell line studies. Rosin is an active agent that has been shown to have neurodegenerative properties, such as inhibiting the growth of nerve cells. The active component in rosin is not yet known, but it has been suggested that it may be one or more of the following: 2-phenylethanol, 3-phenylpropionic acid, 4-phenylbutyric acid, or 2-phenylethyl alcohol.
