Description

2-(3-(3-((2-Chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl)benzyl)(2,2-diphenylethyl)-amino)propoxy)phenyl)acetic acid hydrochloride is a receptor ligand that binds to the benzodiazepine site on the GABA receptor. It is a diarylmethane derivative and has been shown to be an effective treatment for epilepsy and alcohol withdrawal symptoms. This drug has also been found to have neuroprotective effects in animal models of cerebral ischemia and stroke.
