Description

Sulindac Related Compound A is a surfactant that has been configurable to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It has been shown to inhibit signal transmission in neurons and may be able to reverse chronic arthritis. The drug has also been shown to have potential for use as a therapeutic agent for neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. This drug binds reversibly to plasma proteins, which can lead to inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis. Sulindac Related Compound A is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, with an IC50 value of 0.1 µM.
