Description:
Stilbene-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid is a mesoporous compound with fluorescence properties. It is a ligand for polycarboxylate anions and can be used as an additive in liquid phase reaction systems, such as in the production of ethylene. Stilbene-4,4'-dicarboxylic acid has been shown to react with ultraviolet radiation, which causes the emission of visible light.
