Description:

Strontium fluoride (SrF) is a chemical compound that has been shown to be thermodynamically stable and is used in the process of protein synthesis. It is also used as a radiation source for photomultiplier tubes, which are devices that measure radiation. Strontium fluoride can emit light when heated at high temperatures, which can be used to produce hydrogen fluoride (HF) and hydrochloric acid (HCl).
