Description:
Silver neodecanoate is a nanoparticle that has a diameter of about 50 nm. It is composed of silver and neodecanoic acid, which is a fatty acid with an 18-carbon chain. Silver neodecanoate has been shown to have high resistance to thermal oxidation. Silver neodecanoate also has optical properties that can be used as a gas sensor because it changes color from blue to green when exposed to acetone or methylene chloride vapors.
