Description:

Ser-Gly-OH is an oligosaccharide that is a homologous series of glycosaminoglycans. It has a high degree of homology with chondroitin sulfate, which is a glycosaminoglycan found in cartilage and synovial fluid. Ser-Gly-OH also has acidic functional groups and can be used as an adhesive agent for wound healing. Ser-Gly-OH contains intramolecular hydrogen bonds, which are important for the stabilization of the molecule. This compound can also be used to form hydrogen bonds with other molecules and proteins, such as hyaluronate.
