3',4',5'-Trifluorobiphenyl-2-ylamine (TFBP) is a chemical compound that has been synthesized in the laboratory. It is a liquid at room temperature and reacts with alkalis to form TFBP hydrochloride, which can be soluble in water. TFBP can be synthesized using the coupling reaction between aniline and 3,4,5-trifluorobenzeneboronic acid. The reaction liquid was heated to reflux for 12 hours in the presence of potassium carbonate. This process yielded about 80% yield of TFBP hydrochloride. The synthesis method for this compound is not well documented and requires further research.
