Product Information

Name:
3-[6-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)anilino]pyrimidin-4-yl]benzamide
Synonyms:
  • Gnf-2
Description:

3-[6-[4-(trifluoromethoxy)anilino]pyrimidin-4-yl]benzamide (3APB) is a potent inhibitor of the bcr-abl kinase, which is an enzyme that plays a key role in the development of chronic myelogenous leukemia. 3APB has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of myeloid cells and block the transformation of these cells into leukemia cells. This compound also inhibits P-glycoprotein and other enzymes that are involved in cancer cell proliferation. 3APB has been found to be active against human immunoglobulin and can be used as a model system for studying apoptosis pathways.
