Description:
2,4,6-Trifluoropyridine is a nucleophilic compound that reacts with electrophiles to produce substitution products. 2,4,6-Trifluoropyridine has been shown to be an effective antiviral agent against syncytial virus infection. It inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines by binding to glucocorticoid receptors and is also effective as a pesticide. 2,4,6-Trifluoropyridine has been shown to have vibrational and chloride properties that can be used for nmr spectroscopy.
