Description:
4H-1,2,4-Triazole-3-sulfonyl chloride is an intermediate in the synthesis of herbicides. It is a scavenger of chlorine and mercaptan and can be used to produce herbicides. 4H-1,2,4-Triazole-3-sulfonyl chloride reacts with anilines to form intermediates that are then used for chlorination or condensation reactions. This reaction mixture can also be oxidized by air to form triazoles.
