Description:

5-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1,3-thiazole is a heterocyclic compound that can be synthesized by the coupling of sodium sulfide with an aryl halide. It has been shown to react as an electrophile in cross-coupling reactions with copper complexes. It also reacts with thiourea or hydrazine to form five membered ring structures. 5-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1,3-thiazole may also be used as a ligand for metal complexes and natural products synthesis.
