Description:

3,4,5-Trimethoxyphthalic acid is an alkaloid that is found in a number of plants such as lapachol and colchicine. It is biosynthesized by the condensation reaction of 3,4-dimethoxyphenylacetic acid and 3,5-dimethoxyphenyllactic acid.
