- 1,2,3-Thiadiazole-4-Carboxylate
1,2,3-Thiadiazole-4-carboxylic acid is a heterobifunctional reagent that can be used as an agriculturally active ingredient in the form of its ester. It is also found to have angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibiting activity. 1,2,3-Thiadiazole-4-carboxylic acid can activate viruses by forming a covalent bond with amines and serum albumin. This reactive compound has been shown to be effective against acarids and bovine serum albumin. It is also a synthetic method for the production of 1,2,3-thiadiazole tetrahydrochloride hydrochloride.
