Description

(1,1,2,2-Tetramethylpropyl)amine hydrochloride is a chemical compound with the molecular formula CH3CH2NHCH2ClH. It is a colorless to white solid that is soluble in water. The compound exists as two geometric isomers: cis and trans. The cis form has a melting point of 68 °C and the trans form has a melting point of 71 °C. This compound can be used as an inhibitor for the production of polyurethane products. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat mycobacterium infections.
