Description

[1,2,4]Triazolo[1,5-a][1,3,5]triazin-7-amine is a n-substituted 2-aminobenzimidazole with two isomers. The synthesis of 1-[(2-aminophenyl)methyl]-2,4-dichloroacetophenone was achieved by condensation of 2-(trichloromethyl)benzimidazole and 2-(trichloromethyl)acetanilide. The reaction was carried out in the presence of methanol and sodium hydroxide in the form of a solution in water. This compound was then reacted with amines to produce 7-[N-(2-aminoethyl)-N'-(diethylamino)ethyl]triazine.
