Description:
1-(4-Thiazolyl)-ethanone is a hydroxy group containing compound that has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth. This antibiotic was found to be active against the bacterial strain Bacillus subtilis and the heterocycle thionyl, which is resistant to pyridinium chlorate. It has also been shown to have a target enzyme in the furyl quinolinium nitrite ion chloride periodide molecule, which may be due to its ability to bind with the nitrite ion and chloride ions.
