Description:

2-(Tributylstannyl)pyridine is a protonation-sensitive, unsymmetrical trifluoroacetic acid derivative with a photophysical and skeleton that can react with halides. It has been used in the synthesis of Pd(II) complexes, which have been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties and are active against tuberculosis. 2-(Tributylstannyl)pyridine has also been shown to be effective against cancer cells, but not against healthy cells.
