Description:
5,6,7,8-Tetrahydroimidazo[1,5-a]pyrazine is a phenyl derivative that has been shown to have antidiabetic properties. It is a maleate salt and a malate salt of 5,6,7,8-tetrahydroimidazo[1,5-a]pyrazine. This drug is used as an antidiabetic agent and also has the potential to decrease insulin resistance. 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydroimidazo[1,5-a]pyrazine has also been shown to have antitumour activity in animal studies.
