Description:
2,3,4-Trimethoxyphenol is an antioxidant compound that is used in analytical chemistry. It is a divalent hydrocarbon that reacts with acidic compounds by forming phenoxide ions. This product also has shown to inhibit the proliferation of cells and may be useful as a hiv drug. 2,3,4-Trimethoxyphenol has been shown to react with carbonyl groups and form stable derivatives such as oximes and acetals.
