Tetrahydro-1-naphthoic acid is a toxic chemical that is used in the synthesis of various organic compounds. Tetrahydro-1-naphthoic acid has been used as a growth regulator in plants and animals. It binds to DNA at the C-H site, preventing protein synthesis and cell division by inhibiting RNA synthesis.
