Description:
1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-benzo[e][1,4]diazepin-5-one (THBP) is a chiral tricyclic compound that belongs to the class of benzodiazepines. It is synthesized by reacting the corresponding oxazepine with hydroxylated pyranose rings. This reaction produces a heterocyclic ring system with a stereoselective orientation of the substituents.
