Description:

Tetrahydro-1H-cyclopenta[c]furan-1,3(3aH)-dione is a polyester that is synthesized by ring-opening polymerization of cyclopentenone. This product can be used as a bifunctional catalyst in the copolymerization of styrene and amines. The synthesis of this polyester was catalysed by bifunctional cocatalysts, such as tetraphenylboron and ethanal.
