Description:
Bis-(1,2,3-trithiacyclohexyldimethylammonium) oxalate is a fatty acid that has been found to inhibit the activity of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor in mammalian cells. It is used in pesticides and herbicides, as well as an insecticide. This compound was also shown to be genotoxic in human lymphocytes and liver microsomes of rats. The effective dose for bis-(1,2,3-trithiacyclohexyldimethylammonium) oxalate is not yet known.
