Description:

2,3,3-Trimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole is a structural formula that contains hydrogen and carbon atoms. The molecule consists of two benzene rings fused together with a single bond between them. This compound has been shown to be an electroosmotic flow agent and is also used in crystallography studies. It has been used as a fluorescence probe for the detection of cancer cells in culture and as a photoelectrochemical cell for the production of hydrogen gas. 2,3,3-Trimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole is also used as a crosslinking agent to create supramolecular structures and can act as an intramolecular hydrogen donor.
