Description:

Trihexyl phosphite is a fatty acid with three hydroxyl groups. This chemical is also an oxidation product of tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether. Trihexyl phosphite has been used as a conditioning agent and as a lubricant in the production of polyester or nylon fibers. It is also used as an additive to improve the kinetic stability of organic esters and to increase the lubricity of lubricating oils. Trihexyl phosphite is chemically stable and does not react with other chemicals, making it safe for use in many applications.
