It is also used to develop photoresists and as a reaction system for the synthesis of polymers. 3-(Trimethoxysilyl)propyl succinic anhydride is also used in pharmacokinetic studies, which measure the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion (ADME) of drugs in living organisms. Pharmacokinetics are determined by the chemical treatment of the drug molecule.
