Description

4-Trifluoroacetylaniline is a stable chemical that is used as an optical sensor. It has been shown to have a strong binding affinity for amines and amino acid residues on the surface of proteins. 4-Trifluoroacetylaniline can be used in fluorescent probes for biochemical assays, such as DNA sequencing or enzyme activity. In addition, it can be used to measure the surface properties of proteins and for enhancing the fluorescence of other molecules. 4-Trifluoroacetylaniline has been shown to inhibit the growth of mosquitoes in vivo and may be used as a strategy against mosquito-borne diseases.
