Description:

Trimethyl (E)-aconitate is a stabilizer that is used together with aniline derivatives in the production of nitroalkanes and nitroacetate, which are active substances. It can also be used as a stabilizer in the manufacture of drug preparations. Trimethyl (E)-aconitate has been shown to spontaneously form trimerization products when heated in the presence of acetonitrile and maleic acid. It is also capable of producing stable compounds by reacting with methyl esters and chlorides.
