2-Trifluoromethyl-2-propanol (TFMP) is a synthetic monomer that belongs to the group of polyatomic molecules. It is an electron-deficient compound that can be used for photochemical reactions, such as uv irradiation or chloride treatment, to yield methacrylates and acrylates.
