Description:

4-N-propyl-4-(trans-4-nonyl)phenol is a synthetic compound that is used in the synthesis of magnetic materials. It has been shown to be soluble in polystyrene and can be dissolved in uv irradiation, sodium nitrate, or covalent bonds. 4-(Trans-4-N-propylclohexyl)phenol has been shown to have affinity for multiwalled carbon and polystyrene, which are both used as magnetic materials.
