Description

Tandospirone hydrochloride is a drug that affects the serotonin receptor 5-HT1A. It has been shown to have a number of clinical properties, including the treatment of anxiety, depression and irritable bowel syndrome. Tandospirone has been shown to be effective in combination with sodium carbonate for the treatment of high-resistant symptoms. This drug inhibits dopamine uptake and increases locomotor activity by blocking D2 receptors in the brain. Tandospirone also has pharmacological effects on 5-HT1 receptors, which are involved in regulating mood and sleep cycles.
