Description:
m-Tyramine hydrochloride is a fluorimetric reagent for the detection of amines. It has been used to measure the inhibitory potency of an inhibitor on the enzyme dopamine hydroxylase (DOPA). In this assay, m-tyramine hydrochloride reacts with dopamine to form a fluorescent product that is measured at 515 nm.
