Product Information
- 3-(Trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazole
- 3-Trifluoromethylpyrazole
3-Trifluoromethyl pyrazole is an antagonist of the proton pump, which is responsible for secreting hydrogen and potassium ions into the stomach. It inhibits hydrogen fluoride-induced carcinogenesis in animal models by preventing the formation of reactive oxygen species. 3-Trifluoromethyl pyrazole has been shown to have a protective effect against colorectal carcinoma and inhibit tumor growth by inhibiting prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) production and nitric oxide (NO). 3-Trifluoromethyl pyrazole inhibits herpes simplex virus type 1 replication in human cells by binding to its lipid envelope. This binding prevents viral entry into host cells.
